Blockbuster Online Job Application?
hello. hey i went to the nearby store and asked for an app and the lady told me that it was online. so i went to the site. blockbuster then careers. and i went to search by location. i put in united states. then maryland. then when i was looking through the cities, it had every city except the one i was looking for. i know theres a blockbuster in the city i was looking for because i was just in that place. so what does this mean? does it mean there not hiring in that city? should i call the local blockbuster and tell them im interested in the job but i cant find the city in the online job application? please help.

Blockbuster has planned to close at least half of their stores.
They are in Bankruptcy.
Chances are that store is not listed because it’s about to close.
What I would do if you still wanted to work there.
Go to the store when it’s not busy and talk to them (early when it opens).
Tell them you are interested in working there and that you tried online and could not find the application for that store location.
Before you do this, print out an application from online and fill it out in case they want it.
The cashier you spoke to might not even be aware that the store is closing soon, and did not know.
Go in the morning since this is usually when managers are in.
