Anyone have any leads or info on getting a Catering/ Banquet Manager position in Las Vegas?

I currently work as a Catering Manager in Chicago, IL and looking to work and move to the Las Vegas area. But I am running into problems finding a job there. It seems like they want you to apply online and then then come in for an interview the next day. This is kind of hard living out of state. Just looking for someone who might have some leads or contacts at a hotel, resort or casino.

You may have to start as a server first then work your way up. Call the hotel you apply online with and ask for the F & B Director. You will get the Secretary and speak to her, she will help you along. That’s how it’s done here. Be nice and understand the guest is priority, more than the bottom line.
